With Kinderträume at the FC Bayern

Brain tumor, leukemia, colon cancer – these words provide a hint of the exhausting, life-threatening disease history of Simon, Tanja and Tamme. But last week, these three kids shared a rare opportunity to feel like three of the luckiest children in Germany. Together with their families they were VIP guests of Kinderträume (“Kids’ Dreams”, similar to the Make-a-Wish foundation) at the Audi Cup in Munich. Their adventure not only included a stay in a hotel, shuttle service to the Allianz Arena and attendance at a top-class soccer tournament (including Manchester United, AC Milan, Club Atlético Boca Juniors, and FC Bayern Munich). Thanks to perfect organization and smart diplomacy by Team Feldmann, they could also select free merchandise from the FC Bayern fan shop and even attend a non-public training session of the Bayern Munich soccer stars. Whilst all other fans were forced to remain outside the closed gates of the training ground, the Kinderträume group had free access to the exclusive area, where they interacted personally with their sports idols. It was an unforgettable moment that moved even Q Managing Director Thilo von Debschitz. Q supports Kinderträume e.V., manages the association’s media presence, and sometimes accompanies dream fulfillments for critically ill childrens.
