Q was sponsoring one of this year’s most extraordinary concerts in the Rheingau Musik Festival: On July 5, the legendary Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club. Seventy-nine-year-old Omara Portuondo was special guest in this performance by the band from Havana that became loved and admired throughout the world after they appeared in the music documentary by Wim Wenders ten years ago. We had an exciting musical experience at the Cuvéehof of Schloss Johannisberg, the oldest winery in the world with a wonderful view of the Rheingau valley.
