“Sterben” is the German title of the 10th audio CD in the series Edition Musikfabrik by the Ensemble Musikfabrik. Q created the design concept for a total of 10 audio experiences, of which three have been released so far, that can be ordered at the Ensemble’s website. For a select group of purchasers, a prestigous slipcase for the complete collection will be provided when all the CDs are published.

In addition to the innovative music, the visuals on the CD covers are noteworthy: They originate from Gerhard Richter, whose works are known as the most expensive by a living artist. Richter, a member of the Ensemble Musikfabriks’ board of trustees, provided reproductions of his paintings, and, in consultation with the artist, we selected images to match the theme of each CD. The folded poster for CD 10, which includes all information about the entire music series, presents Richters’ oil painting “Flowers” from 1994.
